With less steepness in the crushing chamber of the cone crusher and more parallel bands between crushing zones, the cone crusher squeezes the rock with a counter-rotating, wear-resistant layer-covered shaft in order to pulverize it, and the crusher’s closed concave hopper, which is covered with grooves or bowl liners made of manganese. Once the rock enters the top of the cone crusher, it is held in place and squeezed between the covering layer and the bowl liner or grooves. Large pieces are crushed once and then dropped to a lower position to be crushed again, and this process continues until the pieces are small enough to be discharged through a small opening at the bottom of the crusher.
