MCS Series Interstage Screen
MCS Series Interstage Screen
MCS series Interstage screen is usually used in adsorption circuits with a certain height difference between the tanks, that is, a step arrangement. When working, the pulp level in the screen machine is higher than the horizontal elevation at the outlet launder, and the pressure drop in the screen machine is overcome by means of the height difference, so that the pulp flows between the tanks.

MCS series Interstage screen is mainly composed of drive system, discharge box, screen drum, agitator, rotating cage, sealing support, etc.
The drive system is mainly composed ofgear motor, base, bearing, oil seal, drive shaft, etc., and the system concentrates the functions of pulp mixing and screen drum cleaning on a common drive shaft.
The discharge box is a volute-like structure with a drive system mounted on the top and a screen drum at the bottom. The drive shaft of the drive system passes down through the discharge box and the center of the screen drum.
The lowest end of the drive shaft is connected to the lower center of the rotary cage by a flange. The rotating cage is concentric with the screen drum, located on its outside, and a certain number of scrapers are evenly fixed on the rotating cage. When working, the rotating cage rotates along the outer circumference of the screen drum, and the scraper on it intermittently sweeps the outer periphery of the screen drum, which reduces the probability of activated carbon and particles close to the size of the screen hole being blocked in the screen hole, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning the screen drum.
The sealing support is fixed in the center of the bottom of the screen drum, on which a pipe runs upward through the drive shaft beyond the pulp level. The structure is a static hydraulic seal that ensures that pulp and carbon do not enter the inside of the screen drum from the bottom.
The agitator is a hollow shaft structure located on the perimeter and concentric of the sealing support. The agitator is connected to the drive shaft by a coupling joint, above the top of the sealing support, and a series of blades are evenly fixed on the lower periphery of its hollow shaft. When working, the agitator rotates together with the drive shaft, and the rotating blades cause the pulp in the screen drum to move upwards and remain in a fully suspended state, thus avoiding its settlement in the screen drum. In the event of a shutdown, the pulp in the screen drum may settle down and when restarted, the pulp will resuspend.
MCS series Interstage screen is suspended on the tank body by hook. This installation structure can remove the equipment from the tank body as a whole, without loosening the bolt or emptying the tank, easy to install and maintain.
